The 2009 FRC competition is called Lunacy!
In a nutshell- Each robot will attach to a "trailer" from the opposing alliance. The game pieces this year, "Moon Rocks" and "Fuel Cells," are placed into your alliance's trailer.
There are two types of Fuel Cell- "Empty Cells," worth the same amount of points as Moon Rocks (2), and "Super Cells," worth 15 points. Super cells are obtained by dropping an Empty Cell off at a "Fueling Station."
The twister(s): The floor is made of a polymer that acts like ice, giving the robot a very low friction coefficient. It will be very hard to maneuver. We are also allowed to use only the standard KOP wheels.
