Knightkrawler STEMinar Series


STEMinar Series

KnightKrawler's STEMinar series aims to connect Irondale High School students interested in pursuing STEM fields and provide exposure to diverse role models, fields of study, and careers.


Seminars will be held virtually on Fridays (Learning Plus Days) at 1:30pm CT via Google Meet. Each week there will be a new speaker talking about their relationship with STEM.

Anthony Tabet

Anthony Tabet is a PhD candidate in chemical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He creates new tools that can be used to study and control neurons in the brain.






November 20

Katie Bach

Katie Bach is a Sr. Principal Product Engineer at Medtronic, where she is a technical lead for development of implantable neurostimulators forbladder and bowel control. Katie holds bachelors and masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and has volunteered as a KnightKrawler team mentor for 14 years and FIRST Robotics Lead Robot Inspector for 6 years.
