Who are we?
Founded in 2007 as one of the very first FRC teams in Minnesota, Team 2052 KnightKrawler is a FIRST Robotics from Irondale Senior High School in New Brighton, Minnesota.
KnightKrawler’s mission is to foster the future generations of business, and STEM leaders via FIRST. We provide an avenue for students to develop critical thinking, leadership, and collaboration skills while demonstrating Gracious Professionalism in and outside of our team.
Each year, we build a new robot to compete in that season of the FIRST Robotics Competition. During the season, we spread our message by creating videos, updating social media, responding to emails, and meeting face to face with our supporters and sponsors. Additionally, we educate others about science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and business while pushing FIRST principles such as Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition.
FRC Team 2052 KnightKrawler is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity, and donations to the team are tax deductible.

I went to the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. Things that I enjoy doing outside of Robotics are attending Broadway Across America shows, watching the Men's U of M Gopher Hockey team, going to movies with my children, and watching NCIS. One thing I like about FIRST is seeing all the different teams and robots at competitions. I am a Principal QA Analyst at Infor.

Bryan B.
Outside of robotics I enjoy combat sports and motor sports. Hanging with my kids and having fun. I am most proud of my personal accomplishment is having two kids that make me proud to be their father. My most embarrassing moment was running into an old coworker from years ago and asking her when her baby was due....she was never expecting!

Bryan H.
Outside of robotics I enjoy being an Android engineer at Target. I am most proud of my personal accomplishment of the team winning the regional Chairman's award in 2016.

Katie B.
Outside of robotics I enjoy being a Principal Product Engineer at Medtronic. I enjoy playing Ultimate and broomball, running, dancing, and reading. I am most proud of my personal accomplishment was when I was a competitive synchronized figure skater, and got to represent the U.S. in international competition.

Lori W.
Outside of robotics I enjoy I enjoy reading, playing with my dogs, hanging out with my family, doing crafty stuff and traveling. I am most proud of my personal accomplishment My family! My most embarrassing moment was when I was three years old, my Mom made the mistake of cutting my cheeseburger in half. I stood on our table in the middle of the restaurant, clenched my little fists and screamed at the top of my lungs. Actually, it didn't embarrass me as much as it did my Mom and 13 year old sister!!!

Mark A.
I went to University of Minnesota and majored in Computer Science. Outside of robotics I take part in Ultimate frisbee, board games, reading, gardening, and computer games. One thing I like about FIRST is seeing the creative solutions that teams come up with to solve the technical challenges of each game. I am a Technology Architect.

Nate C.
I have a BSE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Outside of robotics I like to fish, play Ultimate Frisbee and softball, and tinker with a variety of projects. My favorite robotics memory is the 2013 Lake Superior Regional Eliminations. It was a roller coaster of excitement.

I went to the University of Minnesota and majored in Electrical Engineering. Things that I enjoy doing outside of Robotics are golfing, bowling, and playing video games. One thing I like most about FIRST is how closely it follows ``real world`` project schedules and procedures. The challenges faced in FIRST are the same faced in industry by professionals. This gives students great insight into various fields. The mentors and students work together side by side to accomplish an extremely difficult task in a short period of time. Each FIRST team is like a small engineering firm that needs to finance, design, and build under a harsh schedule. When mentors and students begin to have discussions and work together as peers it is a great feeling. I am an Electrical Engineer at Graco.

Rebecca Y.

Scott D.
Outside of robotics I enjoy creating mobile games. I am most proud of my personal accomplishment of the game I have created (QONQR) has been played in every country in the world. My most embarrassing moment was participating in a stand-up comedy competition in college.

Outside of robotics, I am a network technician for Synchronicity Incorporated. We sync businesses up with today’s technologies. I graduated from Dunwoody College of Technology with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking Systems. Away from work and robotics I am usually researching and training on new and upcoming products and technologies. I also enjoy automotive detailing. It’s impossible to have a clean exterior for long in Minnesota but a clean interior is a great to have.

Outside of robotics I enjoy being Director of Customer Analytics at Best Buy Co., Inc. When not at work or Robotics, I enjoy running (medium distance, 3 to 5 miles at a time - no marathons), although I haven't had the time to do it much lately. I also like camping and I have an appreciation for classic cars. I am most proud of my personal accomplishment Becoming a Game Announcer for Minnesota FIRST Regionals (and Wisconsin this year). My most embarrassing moment was when I called Green Machine KING TeC while announcing at my very first event a couple years back.

Sara H.
I graduated from the University of Saint Thomas with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I have worked at 3M as a Product Development Engineer in the Commerical Solutions Division for two and a half years. Currently, I'm pursuing my Masters in Engineering Technology from Purdue University. I am a strong advocate for women in STEM and engineering related fields.
